PGE 2240 Pure Expanded Graphite Packing 1331 - with Carbon Fibres Corners This is a graphite gland packing braided by pure expanded graphite and its corners are edge-reinforced with carbon fibres. The packing is also treated with corrosion inhibitors for prevention of galvanic corrosion.

Aramid Packing 1201 This is a Gland packing, braided by PTFE impregnated aramid filament fabric. The fundamental material for this aramid fiber packing is a synthesized fiber with very excellent resistance features. Aramid Packing 1201 wears out very smoothly, even under very elevated stress circumstances.

PGE 2150 Rubber Core Black Gland Packing are specifically designed to reduce packing wear and shaft / sleeve wear in slow rotating equipments with excessive shaft run-out. Gland adjustments and repacking are greatly reduced.

Gland packings Rings consist of a braided or twisted material, such as graphite, PTFE or aramid fibres, that are placed around a shaft or valve stem. The packing material is compressed against the shaft or stem by a gland, which is a mechanical seal that is tightened to create a secure, leak-free seal.

The packing is combination of tough high strength ARAMID fiber yarn on corners and PTFE lubricated yarn on the sides. The positioning of tough ARAMID yarn with negligible friction of PTFE Yarn renders the packing best suited for high pressure rotating and reciprocating applications.
