Titanium Sheet And Plates

The thickness of titanium sheet products is defined to be in the range of 0.41–4.8 mm; above 4.8 mm or 3/16″ is known as plate while below 0.016″ or 0.41 mm is denoted as titanium foil [10]. The maximum wall thickness of most SEBM-fabricated ELI Ti-6Al-4V is generally < 4.8 mm or 3/16″.
